The first trailer for the upcoming animated origin story landed this week and it revealed new looks for the iconic characters, as well as a decidedly goofy tone. Since the film is about two best friends becoming mortal enemies, were guessing that tone shifts a b stanley cup becher it at some point. And the same is probably true for the looks of the characters鈥攚hich, after seeing the trailer and some new character posters, feel much more human than wer stanley mug e used to. In other iterations, the Transformers have had human facial features. During battles though, and sometimes in dialogue-heavy scenes, those are usually covered by something machine-like, which makes them seem more robotic and easier for animators . That happens in this trailer too but you get the sense that, with all the playful banter, these designs are meant to be more relatable. And frankly, were not sure how we feel about the blocky noses, thin lips, and dead eyes. Last years Crisis on Earth-X has seemingly kicked off a new tradition for the CWs now-annual smushing together of its DC heroes: creating a comic book ouroboros by giving these live-action versions of comics characters their very own special cover. This year, DC has revealed that artist Amy Reeder was given the task of bringing El stanley botella seworlds to life, and its a pretty delightful mashup of our heroes and the sinister villains seemingly behind this multiversal chicanery. As well as depicting Supergirl, Superman not in his new black suit , Batwoman, and the bodyswapped versions of Green Arrow and Flash, the cover includes LaMonica Garrett lurking in the background as the Monitor, and our first look at Jeremy Davies stanley mug character, Doctor John Deegan, a mysterious figure who works at Arkham Asylum and is apparently the catalyst that brings our heroes together and to Gotham in the first place. While it might not have quite so much of the everyone is here! vibes of the Phil Jiminez art created for Crisis, its still a great lit stanley canada tle cover filled with cute nods鈥攔ight down to even borrowing Elseworlds titling from the comics.
